Margy Altmix
Margy Altmix is the president and co-creator of Wisdom Worker Solutions. She has worked at Employee & Family Resources, Inc., (EFR) since 1987, including eight years as chief operations officer. Altmix earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of West Virginia, specializing in aging. Before joining EFR, she worked as a therapist in a community mental health center in Erie, Penn., and at a substance abuse treatment center in Cleveland, Ohio. In recent years, she trained as an executive and retirement coach. Assisting her coaching clients in designing the next chapter of their lives led her to the development of Wisdom Worker Solutions.
Altmix believes that the transitions individuals will make during their 50s and 60s are part of an exciting and challenging journey that requires thoughtful planning.
